English language

Well, I think the english is very difficult when you don't practice or do not interact with it in some way, for example watch subtitled movies or in english without subtitles, or play video games in english. Learning english in the university has been more didactic than in school and not so boring. Recently I found a very good way to put into practice English through a game that the teacher showed us where we could all participate, where you should read, answer questions and also be quick to win.

About blogs I think is a good way to learn inglish in areas of practicing writing and reading, but is it gets boring when they ask us to do them very often. 

The aspects of my english I need to improve are my pronunciation and my fluency, especially this last. I plan on getting into a private english course that makes me talk more than writing. Also watch movies in english without subtitles. If I had the money I would go to an English-speaking country, to force my senses to adapt to the need to speak english.

Outside class I use the english for watch videos in youtube in english, because are manny without subtitles and many of them are not in Spanish, and generally the documentaries in english are the best. I Also use it to communicate with people who speak English and who need help because they do not know the Spanish language. Also in online games, because many players in the games speak inglish and the game for himself are in english language.

Changes to my study programme

I think we need more maths, because is very important for many works and our career is called engineering, therefore we have to honor that name. Also elective subjects with topics about main subjects for reinforce or expand knowledges which are more difficult.

I think there could be two types of programs can be choose, one with more duration of career but less hours of class, and other program whit less duration in years but more intensive hours of class per week.

We need a good audiovisual classroom with laptops or computers in good conditions, because actually our audiovisual classroom is good but the computers in there are very slow or not have mouses and maybe fifty percent of them are useless. Also we need more study rooms and conference room for student meeting or teacher talks.

I think it is time for teaching methods to be supported by current technology, for example if one can not attend a class, the teacher could transmit the course live online and live thanks to laptop or mobile phone. They should also give the option to take online courses attached to the university, or just all courses by online and the exams or controls should be taken in each week at the end of the month, of course all the questions or doubts maybe taken in the university or by online.

Teaching methods they should be more didactic and not so archaic, for example change the boring classes where they say the same thing as the power point.
